We all had a great time at "Funfest" again this year. 8 "Cruiser" cars went down and spent the day catching vettes of every kind, color, make, model and year. There were 10,692 corvettes on site. Attendance was estimated at 45,000 people. The previous records, set at last year's Funfest were 8,200 Corvettes and an estimated 35,000 people. There were great special displays:

•10 new C6 Corvettes on a hauler from the Bowling Green plant.
•A display of C6 Corvettes staffed by Corvette engineers who explained the new features of the 05 Corvette and answered questions about the car.
•Two, new, highly, modified Corvettes from Callaway, Inc.
•High performance Corvettes from Mallett Cars, Ltd.
•Goodyear Tires and Mobil 1 Oil both had large semi-truck displays.
•ACDelco conducted a special seminar and had a large display on modern automotive electronics.
•The first ever art show at Corvette Funfest.
•"Center Stage" parking of Corvettes that matched Mid America Motorworks new corporate colors of red, black and silver.
